Operating Procedures
- Work Schedule:
- Tawzef
operates five days a week (Sunday through Thursday) with 9-hour workdays,
including a one-hour lunch break.
- Office hours
are from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
- Weekly days
off are Friday and Saturday.
- Timekeeping:
- Employees must
use the ZOHO Time Attendance system to check in and check out when
entering and leaving Tawzef premises.
- Employees must
be at their designated workspace by the start of their shift.
- Attendance:
- Failure to
check in or check out:
- First
instance: Half-day salary deduction
- Subsequent
instances: Full-day salary deduction
- Tardiness
(arriving after 10:00 AM or working less than 9 hours per day, twice in a

- Business
casual attire is required in the office.
- Formal attire
is required for outdoor meetings.
- Employees must
maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.

- Failure to

Employee Leave Policy
- Leave
Calculation:
- Leave is
calculated on a calendar year basis.
- Leave
approvals are at the discretion of the direct manager.
- Normal Leave
(NL):
- 15 days per
year
- Excludes
weekly holidays, annual festival holidays, and government holidays.
- Cannot be
taken within the first three months of employment or immediately before
or after another holiday.
- Can be
combined with a weekend (Thursday and Sunday) twice per year.
- Maximum
consecutive NL days: 5
- Requires five
days' advance notice using the Leave Application Form.
- Approval
depends on business needs and availability of a replacement.
- Cannot be
combined with casual leave (CL) or carried over to the next year.
- Casual Leave
(CL):
- 6 days per
year for personal or urgent matters
- Full pay
during CL
- Maximum
consecutive CL days: 2
- Requires
application within two working days or five days before the leave.
- Cannot be
carried over to the next year.
- Sick Leave
(SL):
- Unlimited, as
determined by a recognized medical authority
- Full pay
during SL
- Requires an
official medical report specifying the number of days needed for
recovery.
- Scanned
medical proof is mandatory for SL exceeding two days.
- Application
within ten working days or five days before the leave.
- Approval is
mandatory if the employee meets the specified conditions.

Employee Compensation and Benefit Policy
- Salary Payment:
- Monthly pay
period with a cut-off date of the 25th.
- Salaries are
paid between the 25th and 30th of each month.
- Overtime:
- Requires prior
approval from the supervisor.
- Overtime forms
must be submitted to HR before payday.
- Obligatory
overtime during busy periods will be communicated in advance.
- Calculation:
- Paid for work
exceeding 8 hours per day, starting from the 9th hour.
- Minimum 8
hours for work on weekly days off.
- Actual hours
paid for work exceeding 8 hours on weekly days off.
- The rate is 2
times the basic hourly rate of the monthly salary.
- Social
Insurance:
- All employees
are covered by the National Authority for Social Insurance.
- 11% deduction
from gross salary (including allowances) for employee contribution.
- 18.75%
employer contribution.
- KPI's:
- Paid monthly
based on evaluation results.
- Outside Work
Allowance:
- Transportation
expenses are covered with application to the Finance Department.
- Office
employees (excluding IT, Personnel, Public Relations, Finance, and Sales)
working outside for a minimum full workday are entitled to 100 EGP per
day.
